Sailor caps have many synonyms around the world. Also known as fiddler caps, breton caps, greek fisherman's cap or captain caps. All of them have a rounded, flattened shape and a short, curved visor. They usually have a button on each side joined by a front strap or cord.

They are usually made of durable materials such as cotton, wool, leather or corduroy and may be decorated with a badge, cockade or other accessory. Breton caps are still on trend after 200 years. Popularised by the protagonist of the musical "Fiddler on the Roof". Chaim Topol in his role as "Tevye".

You can wear a sailor cap at any time of the year, no matter if you have a boat or not. It will protect you from the sun and cold wherever you are. Just choose the material that best suits the season. Wool, leather or corduroy caps for winter and fine cotton or linen caps for summer.
